Soil Culture
Young Shoots touring exhibition 2015-16
The exhibition Young Shoots was based on the 12 residencies and launched at the Create centre in Bristol 4 July-26 August 2015 by Alys Fowler. See Soil Culture publication pp.57-85.
Soil Culture at Create arose from a partnership between CCANW and Miche Fabre Lewin and Flora Gathorne-Hardy of Touchstone collaborations (now Living Justice). Young Shoots was accompanied by a second exhibition Dirt Dialogues featuring 36 International artists organised by Alexandra Toland, eight Soil Saturdays and Food Happenings organised by Touchstone, and the residency between Touchstone and Maddy Longhurst of the Blue Finger Alliance. See graphic card article and video.
