Haldon’s Hidden Heritage
Exhibition
The Haldons are often referred to as the ‘hidden’ hills of Devon. Apart from its forests and landmark tower, most people know little of its rich heritage. This unique exhibition and its accompanying activities touched every aspect of the Haldon Hills, through geology and prehistory, to the establishment of its grand country mansions. The exhibition was researched by Iain Fraser, Christopher Pidsley and Dr Ted Freshney, with loans from the Royal Albert Memorial Museum, the County Archives and Forestry Commission.

On CCANW leaving Haldon in March 2013 the panels were left on display in the Project Space and they were then subsequently donated to Haldon Belvedere Trust. The FC have now (2023) commissioned Northbank to redesign the panels and these are now installed along the Raptor Trail at Haldon.

The panels were available to be shown in local community and school halls.
