Active Ingredient, an artist collective worked in collaboration with scientists and researchers across the UK and Brazil to create A Conversation Between Trees.

During her residency at Haldon in July/August 2006, Heike Rindt worked with a number of local artists and members of the public to create an alternative trail for walkers. The trace the place chase led visitors – with the aid of text-based clues – through a series of altered spaces in the forest.
27 May – 5 June 2006 Sam Mukumba
One of Sam Mukumba’s workshops in June 2006 involved casting a number of bowls from molten beeswax. Participants were asked to find a tree seedling growing in an unsuitable place – typically, a roof gutter or along a road – and replant it in a bowl.
